Projects Overview

Encanto Potash Corp. is engaged in the exploration and development of potash properties in the Province of Saskatchewan, Canada – the largest producing region for potash in the world.

Encanto has agreements with seven First Nations Peoples to assist them in developing potash resources on their lands, which are located within a radius of about 80 kilometers, and cover an aggregate area of over 187,000 acres in South-Eastern Saskatchewan. Encanto is focused on exploring for potash in five southeastern Saskatchewan prospects, working with the Chacachas, Day Star, Muskowekwan, Muscowpetung and Ochapowace First Nations.
The five properties are in the heart of potash country. The potash formation in Saskatchewan – the “Prairie Evaporite” – typically contains three significant potash-bearing beds, with a fourth which only occurs in the southeastern part of the basin.
These potash prospects where Encanto is initially focusing are within a radius of about 80 kilometers and are in close proximity to railway and highway infrastructure. These are:

The geology of the Saskatchewan potash belt is very consistent over a very large area which includes thousands of square kilometers. This means that the Encanto - First Nations relationship has an opportunity to create value by rapidly developing its land package with minimal exploration.
Based on oil and gas wells drilled around each of its properties, management anticipates drilling seismic programs will confirm the presence of three members in each of its properties.

Encanto most recently acquired all of the potash interests from Raytec Metals, including the Spar and KP452 potash properties, which covers more than 72,800 hectares of potash permits located in Saskatchewan. One of the Raytec properties, Permit KP 441, which is part of the Spar Property, is the subject of a technical report prepared by Agapito Associates, Inc., dated July 29, 2009 the authors of which are Dr. Michael Hardy, P.Eng, Dr. Douglas F. Hambley, P.Eng, and Joseph E. Crawford, L.P.G. The following is a summary of the data in Tables 4 and 5 of the Report outlining the resources in KP 441.
